Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o leu errado, eu disse uma casa de pedra mesmo \u2013 e que por muitos anos serviu de resid\u00eancia para o seu propriet\u00e1rio! Estive l\u00e1 pela primeira vez no ano passado quando participei do Pocando no ES 3. Na sua inf\u00e2ncia assistiu ao in\u00edcio da devasta\u00e7\u00e3o florestal do norte capixaba que come\u00e7ou com a extin\u00e7\u00e3o da madeira de lei pela a\u00e7\u00e3o das madeireiras da regi\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Esse triste fato marcou a alma do artista, que transportou esse sentimento para suas obras. E \u00e9 atrav\u00e9s de sua arte que ele tenta devolver \u00e0 vida aquilo que foi destru\u00eddo pelo homem. Cara, show de bola! E ver um trabalho desses nos faz refletir como n\u00e3o temos a m\u00ednima necessidade de se ter muito para ser feliz. Um dos benef\u00edcios que essa visita nos proporciona \u00e9 podermos fazer essa reflex\u00e3o. Autodidata, come\u00e7ou a esculpir por volta de 1980, trabalhando troncos e ra\u00edzes com a marca de sua arte: simplicidade, rusticidade e criatividade. E voc\u00eas, gostaram? Quando estiverem aqui no Esp\u00edrito Santo e at\u00e9 mesmo, quem j\u00e1 mora aqui, tire um tempinho para fazer essa visita.
